"Don't Want to Live My Life Without You" is the single from Dead 27s last EP, and it's a rock-and-soul party. Complete with funky guitar riffs and crooning vocals, it grooves along as the lead singer confesses "the very second that I see your face, I feel like crawling under the table". If this is where they're coming from, then the new album - recorded in New Orleans with Grammy-nominated producer Ben Ellman - is truly something to get excited about.

Dead 27s is five compelling musicians from Charleston who are making their mark on the South Carolina music scene. The band has joined the lineup for FloydFest 2016, sharing a bill with Gregg Allman, Bruce Hornsby, Leftover Salmon and more. These guys really know how to rock a live show, so if you find yourself in Virginia at the end of July, do yourself a favor and join the party.
